She is a native of Walton County and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Georgia College and State University as well as a Master's Degree in Teaching with a specialization in Social Studies from the University of North Carolina. Previously, she taught three years at South Gwinnett High School and has been at Social Circle High School for the past three years. Ashley has served as the New Teacher Crew leader, the Technology team leader, and has been a member of PBIS initiative team. She also serves on the Literacy Initiative team for the entire Social Circle City Schools District, and is currently the Student Government sponsor and a participant in the Northeast Georgia RESA Leadership Academy for the year 2018.
