The nine games of the season-opening Corky Kell Classic provided some great moments last weekend. 

Here are five of the top performances from those games hosted at Rome’s Barron Field, Georgia State Stadium and Mercedes-Benz Stadium. 

Marietta quarterback Harrison Bailey: He completed 36 of 51 passes for 443 yards and six touchdowns in a loss to Rome. The junior hooked up 14 times apiece with Ramel Keyton (191 yards, four TDs) and Arik Gilbert (170 yards, one TD). 

Colquitt County running back Daijun Edwards: The junior rushed 25 times for 162 yards and one touchdown to lead the Packers to a win over McEachern.

Rome quarterback Knox Kadum: The senior completed 13 of 19 passes for 218 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 89 yards in a late-night win over Marietta. 

Walton quarterback Aaron Kirksey: The senior completed 18 of 25 passes for 344 yards and three touchdowns – all of them to Dominick Blaylock – in the win over Mill Creek. Kirksey has committed to the University of Nevada.

Milton quarterback Jordan Yates: The senior engineered the biggest upset of the Corky Kell Classic, as the unranked Eagles toppled No. 7 Archer. Yates, a Georgia Tech commitment, completed 7 of 14 passes for 72 yards and rushed for 93 yards and two touchdowns.
