The Wheelchair Championship is an open coed event that been contested since 2004. The American Association of Adaptive Sports Programs is the national governing body. 

Houston County has dominated the event. The Sharks have won the state championship for the last six sesons.

The Gwinnett Heat won their lone title in 2012. The Heat defeated West Georgia in the semifinals.
