In addition to our winners, GPB would also like to congratulate Briana Jones, who marked her first Emmy win in the category Craft Specialty - Makeup. Briana works on many GPB productions, including GPB Sports coverage of high school football and A Seat at the Table.

GPB Radio’s On Second Thought took home a national award from the Public Radio News Directors Inc. (PRNDI) in the category of best public affairs program for a station with 16 or more full-time news staff. The award-winning episode, which took home second place, aired last year,  and it was about the friendship of a former white supremacist named Chris Buckley and a Muslim cardiologist named Heval Kelli.
