Kamal Carter graduated from Hampton University with a pre-med degree in biology. He teaches general chemistry, advanced chemistry, AP Chemistry, AP Biology, and AP Environmental Science at Clarkston High School in Clarkston, Georgia. He has been a National Institute of Health (NIH) Research Fellow and a member of the State Superintendent's Teachers Advisory Council. Kamal turned down two full scholarships to medical school to pursue his passion, science education.
