Musician Glenn Jones shares his additions to On Second Thought’s “Georgia Playlist.” He will be performing at City Winery on Thursday, Dec. 19.
“Christmas in the Trenches” is a song that tells the story of a short reprieve from fighting on a battlefield in Flanders during WWI. John McCutcheon, Atlanta-based folk musician, released the song in 1984. McCutcheon joined On Second Thought to play the song and explain its origins.
