Monday on Political Rewind, voting issues are in the news again. An investigation by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution indicates the farther people have to travel to get to their polling place the less likely it is they will vote.

Our panelists look at the pattern and ask if politics are at play in closing numerous precinct locations around the state. 

Meanwhile, in a move reminiscent of actions taken in Georgia, GOP officials in Minnesota are about to cancel the registrations of 200,000 voters. Democrats are again calling it voter suppression. Republicans say it’s a matter of ballot integrity.

Plus, a controversial mayor and city councilman resign before facing recalls by voters who say they were caught making racist remarks. Our panel weighs in on the episode that led to the outcry in Hoschton, Georgia.
