- Step into history with an exhibit of photographs from the W.W. Law collection at the Savannah Cultural Arts Center, called "Five Years that Changed Savannah Forever." The exhibit focuses on the Civil Rights movement in Savannah from 1960 to 1965 and was organized by former mayor Otis Johnson and city archives director Luciana Spracher. Johnson will speak at the opening reception, which will run from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
- Get Grinchy as Savannah Arts Academy presents The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, a dance production choreographed by Jay and Cristin Jernigan. Catch the show at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday and at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday; tickets are $15 for adults or $10 for students.
- See a tale as old as time as the Savannah Stage Company production of Beauty and the Beast continues at Service Brewing. The beloved musical follows a young woman who dreams of a bigger world and a prince transformed into a beast at 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday; audience members pay what they can.
- Have a naughty holiday with Stripsgiving, a burlesque show presented by the Savannah Sweet Tease. The show doubles as a fundraiser, with ticket discounts for donating canned goods or personal items like toiletries and socks. It begins at 8 p.m.; tickets are $10 with a donation or $15 without.
- Shop local at the DeSoto Street Market in the Starland district. Get a jump on holiday shopping with local vendors and enjoy music, food, beer from Two Tides and activities for the kids from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
- Explore the past as the Massie Heritage Center launches its newly redesigned American Indians of the Southeast Coast exhibit. Admission is free all day with activities and hourly tours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
