On this edition of Political Rewind, today marks the 10th anniversary of the Atlanta Tea Party, which became part of a national movement that would upend Republican politics.

Tea Party supporters accused the Republican establishment of ignoring the needs of everyday Americans. Many believe the movement led to the election of Donald Trump. We talk to one of the founders of the Atlanta Tea Party.

As one of his first actions as the new director of the State Ethics Commission, David Emadi is demanding bank records from Stacey Abrams gubernatorial campaign. Critics say Emadi’s past role as a Republican party leader and backer of Brian Kemp make his move against Abrams suspicious at best.
