Woods was the youngest player to win the event all the way back in 1997. Now, the 43-year-old golf phenom is the second oldest player to win.
During his championship press conference, he spoke emotionally about what the tournament means to him.
“Just to come back (to Augusta) and to play as well as I did this week...this has meant so much to me and my family,” Woods said. “It’s something that I will never, ever, forget.”

It was a comeback win for Woods, who wore his trademark Sunday red attire on the final day of the tournament.
“The leaderboard was absolutely packed and everyone was playing well. Now I know why i'm balding...this stuff is hard,” Woods quipped during his post-round interview.
Woods was showered with praise on social media, including a pair of presidential tweets from Donald Trump and Barack Obama.
Love people who are great under pressure. What a fantastic life comeback for a really great guy! https://t.co/41MtJtYEjq— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 14, 2019
Congratulations, Tiger! To come back and win the Masters after all the highs and lows is a testament to excellence, grit, and determination.— Barack Obama (@BarackObama) April 14, 2019
After claiming his 15th win in a major, Tiger trails only Jack Nicklaus in the record books, who has 18 major championships
The next major up for grabs is the PGA Championship at Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale, New York, which takes place next month.
