It's another busy Savannah weekend. Tanya Milton of the Savannah Tribune and Heather Henley of the Savannah Morning News have some tips to help you navigate it.Tanya and Heather talk weekend events.

Heather's picks:

  • Discover your next favorite band at the Savannah Stopover Music Festival, happening Thursday through Sunday at venues throughout downtown. Full lineup and schedule here.
  • Get ready for St. Patrick's Day with some Irish music. Calvary Baptist Auditorium will host Celtic Thunder tenor Emmet Cahill for "An Irish Evening in Old Savannah" at 7:30 p.m. Friday; free, food donations encouraged. At the Tybee Post Theater, Chloe Agnew of Celtic Woman will perform new music and Irish folk standards with Irish tenor Dermot Kiernan at 7:30 p.m. Saturday; $18-22.
  • Continue the Irish fun at the Celtic Ceol Feis in Emmet Park. Enjoy traditional Irish music and dance from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.
  • Close the weekend with a film as CinemaSavannah presents "Over the Limit," a documentary exploring the Russian system for training athletes and the lengths taken to win, at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Jewish Educational Alliance; $10.

  • Celebrate women during International Women's Day on Friday, and Women's History Month all month long. The League of Women Voters has a whole slate of events planned, including a concert of Baroque-era women composers at 7 p.m. Sunday; $20.
  • Enjoy music with the whole family at the Musical Explorers Family Jam, presented by the Savannah Music Festival at Yamacraw Center for the Performing Arts. Enjoy a range of music, from opera to soul to ring shout, with concerts at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Saturday; free.
  • Continue the family fun at the Love & Soul Family Festival in Forsyth Park. Enjoy more than 30 musical performances, along with vendors, food trucks and more from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday; free.
