There's plenty of art, music and more to enjoy in Savannah this weekend. Rachael Flora from Connect Savannah has some tips.Rachael talks weekend events.

Rachael's picks:

  • Celebrate the start of March at this month's First Friday in Starland. Exhibits include "Call for Memories" by Chelsea Voss at Sulfur Studios and "Everyday Icons of Nature" by Lind Powell Hollingsworth at One Hundred Miles, and Two Tides Brewing is releasing their newest beer, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday; free.
  • Enjoy some musical theater with the Collective Face Theatre Ensemble's latest production, "Hello Again." The show explores sexuality and attraction, examining what drives people into each other's arms. See it at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday; $5-25. Runs through Mar. 24.
  • Take the whole family to the Savannah Local Artists' Market at the old Salvation Army baseball field. Artists will display and sell their work, with plenty of activities, entertainment and food trucks, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
  • Have a blast at Tybee Island's Mardi Gras celebration, featuring a parade, costume contest, music and a street party, beginning at noon Saturday.
  • Experience a different kind of storytelling as musician Jason Bible releases Anicca, his new solo album and companion novel. Each chapter corresponds to a song on the album. Bible and local collaborators will perform the album live several times: 6 p.m. Saturday at Graveface, 8 p.m. Saturday at the Sentient Bean, 2 p.m. Sunday at Coastal Empire Records and 7 p.m. Sunday at the Tybee Post Theater.
  • Learn more about the latest exhibit at the Jepson Center, "katniss" by Katherine Sandoz. Explore the exhibit with the artist and talk as a group beginning at 3 p.m. Sunday.
