'Black Panther,' 'First Man' Represent Atlanta In The 2019 Oscars

Black Panther and First Man, which were both filmed in Atlanta, will look to bring home awards during the 2019 Oscars on Sunday

On Sunday, the 2019 Oscars will honor the best films of the past year.

Atlanta and Georgia will be well represented in the nominations and on stage, with films like "Black Panther," "The Avengers" and "First Man" all receiving nominations after filming in the state.

U.S. Congressman John Lewis and actor/director Tyler Perry will both serve as presenters during the awards.
