Vice President Mike Pence visited on Tuesday parts of southwest Georgia impacted by Hurricane Michael.
His trip comes on the heels of President Donald Trump's visit to the state on Monday.
Pence spoke at the annual Sunbelt Ag Expo, an agriculture trade show in Moultrie. He reassured farmers the federal government would be there to help.
"Our administration will continue unrelentingly to deploy the man power and resources of the federal government to this region and to these communities until you come all the way back," he said.
Pence said the farmers' resiliency to keep fighting and still show up to the expo has been inspiring to America.
Crop damage is expected to top $1 billion.
