On this edition of Political Rewind, Governor Deal makes a surprise announcement that he will suspend a controversial jet fuel tax long sought by Delta Air Lines. 

It comes even as the state is preparing a billion dollar package of incentives to lure Amazon’s new headquarters to Atlanta.  How will conservatives in the legislature respond to these business-friendly measures, and will they become ensnared in the politics of the governor’s race?  Our panel weighs in.  Plus, in a speech to Georgia prosecutors, Attorney General Jeff Sessions makes it clear he’s no fan of the criminal justice reforms that have won Governor Deal national acclaim.
