JAY-Z was selected last year. Now, Dupri joins the class of 2018, which also includes John Mellencamp, Alan Jackson, and Kool & the Gang
Dupri, who created the record label So So Def Recordings, has written and produced a number of chart-topping songs for artists including Mariah Carey, Usher and Alicia Keys.
The Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Dinner will take place at the Marriott Marquis Hotel on June 14th
