Today on “Political Rewind,” who needs journalists? Donald Trump Jr. scoops everyone by releasing emails proving he met with a Russian attorney last summer during the presidential campaign.

Independent journalist Jared Yates Sexton joins our show to describe what it's like to work on a story for a year only to have it blow up on Twitter. Where do the latest revelations take us?

Also today, we're highlighting both of Georgia's U.S. senators, Johnny Isakson and David Perdue. Perdue led the charge to cut the August recess and that's, in fact, what's happening, so that lawmakers can address the health care bill and a number of other efforts. Meanwhile, Isakson is earning kudos from the New York Times for continuing to display the spirit of bipartisanship, not easy in the current political climate.

Today on Capitol Hill, there were other Georgians in the political spotlight as former Georgia Senator Sam Nunn goes to bat for Atlanta attorney Christopher Wray. Wray, a candidate for new FBI Director, sat for a nomination hearing at the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Finally, our panel takes a look at fundraising for the upcoming governor's race.
