Wonder how African-American women deal with issues like career advancement, body image stereotypes and white people using the n-word? Black women usually speak about these matters only among themselves.

But on this edition of “Two Way Street,” three remarkable women, former WSB-TV iconic anchor Monica Pearson, New York Times best-selling author Denene Millner and Atlanta entertainment attorney Christine White, share their thoughts on the issues that confront African-American women today. They are the hosts of “A Seat at the Table,” a new show that airs on GPB Television Sunday evening, June 18. And like our conversation for “Two Way Street,” the TV show is an exploration of how black women navigate the challenges they face in their everyday lives.

We recorded our show in front of a live audience of some 50 Atlanta-based women who are corporate and non-profit executives.
