On today’s show we’re going to talk about food and cocktails. What more could you ask for than that? Our guests are three people in the Georgia food and beverage business who we’ve come to know and admire.

Senior producer Jenny Ament is a fan of a tiny Vietnamese sandwich shop in East Atlanta Village called We Suki Suki. As Jenny spent time there, she came to realize that the proprietor, a Vietnamese immigrant named Quynh Trinh  – who everyone calls “Q” – is a genuine Atlanta character with a great personal story to tell.

Later in the show, we have a conversation with two of Georgia’s most creative and best-known barkeeps – Greg Best and Paul Calvert of Ticonderoga Club. Greg and Paul are personal favorites of both Jenny and me. They share stories about learning to make great cocktails, about the history of some of our favorites, and offer tips on how all of us can make great cocktails.
