Today on "Political Rewind" we discuss Georgia Governor Nathan Deal's public forum in East Point on Tuesday to answer questions about Amendment 1’s proposal to create the Opportunity School District. The governor continues to lead the charge on the statewide proposal that would allow an appointed state agency to intervene in failing schools.

Early voting in Georgia has seen long lines and over 700,000 ballots cast according to Secretary of State Brian Kemp. The panel discusses early voting and how campaigns are trying to mobilize their supporters to head to the polls. Is there a candidate that benefits the most from early voting and will the early votes have a larger impact this year than in the past?

Opponents of the Affordable Care Act continue to raise concern over the increasing costs of healthcare coverage through the program. While this could have been a crippling blow to the Democratic ticket, has the GOP let this issue get away from them? Can Donald Trump stay on message and resonate with undecided voters?  

On the ballot in Georgia is a referendum concerning the Judicial Qualifications Commission (JQC), an independent organization that investigates ethics complaints about judges. The constitutional amendment has drawn national attention due to its controversial path to being placed on the ballot. Will the political feuds and continued controversy help or hurt the referendum and ultimately the future of the JQC?
