The American Psychological Association has released a list of ways to cope with stress people may feel because of the 2016 election.

On Fridays, we spend time in The Breakroom discuss the week’s news. Guest host Adam Ragusea and the panel talk about the high level of stress Americans say they feel over the election, a new private club where women can eat chicken wings without men around to judge them, and statistics that show police body cameras dramatically reduce the number of complaints by the public.

Our Breakroom guests this week:

  • Roxanne Donovan, Assistant Chair of the Interdisciplinary Studies Department and a professor of psychology and interdisciplinary studies at Kennesaw State University
  • Julianne Thompson, Republican strategist and a former press secretary for the Georgia Republican Party
  • Charles Richardson, Editorial Page Editor, the Telegraph in Macon
  • Hector Fernandez, Director of the Center for Latin American and Latino/a Studies and a professor of world languages and cultures at Georgia State University

We also explore whether parents should allow their kids to occasionally drink alcohol, Mary J. Blige’s expensive divorce, and our favorite children’s books.

Guest host Adam Ragusea moderates The Breakroom panel for Friday, October 21, 2016.
