Hundreds Gather To Mourn UGA Students Killed In Crash

Family members of the victims joined hundreds of friends, students, and staff at a Thursday evening ceremony on the University of Georgia campus in Athens honoring the four UGA students killed in a collision Wednesday night.
People could be heard crying throughout the crowd as President Jere Morehead opened the ceremony by addressing the heartbreak and shock many were feeling.
Will Scott is the brother of victim Halle Scott, he said he had to attend once he realized how many people were coming to remember his sister and the others.
"I was at the hospital for a long time last night and early this morning with my parents and it was really tough," Scott said. "This is one of the worst days, this really hurts, but y'all are making it a whole lot better."
Kayla Canedo, 19, of Alpharetta; Brittany Feldman, 20, of Alpharetta; Christina Semeria, 19, of Milton; and Halle Scott, 19, of Dunwoody all died in the accident.
Driver Agnes Kim survived the accident, she remains hospitalized at Athens Regional Medical Center in Critical Condition.
