A Conversation With Krista Bremer, Author Of My Accidental Jihad:
Author Krista Bremer is a blonde, blue-eyed, a surf worshipper who spent all her time at the beach when she was a college student in Southern California. But when she moved to Chapel Hill, North Carolina for graduate school, her life changed irrevocably. Bremer fell in love with and unexpectedly became pregnant by a Libyan-born Muslim 15 years older. Bremer’s book “My Accidental Jihad” describes her struggle to accept the vast differences that separate her from the man who is now her husband and the father of her two children.
Remembering Chick-fil-A Founder Truett Cathy:
Chick-fil-A founder Truett Cathy died Sept. 8. That week, more than 4,000 people paid tribute to Cathy at his funeral in Jonesboro. Ken Bernhardt is a former Georgia State University marketing professor who was a consultant to Chick-fil-A for over 30 years. Sam Williams is the retired president of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. On “Two Way Street” both men looked back on their memories of the late Chick-fil-A founder.
