Public Service/Political Career:
Rose Wing is the Republican candidate for state House District 37 in Cobb County, which covers Marietta. She is challenging first-term incumbent Democrat Rep. Mary Frances Williams, whose defeat of Republican incumbent Sam Teasley in 2018 was part of the county’s overall shift from red to blue.
Wing is a former Cobb County assistant district attorney. After retiring, she served in leadership positions in the Cobb County Republican Party and was chair from 2015 to 2017. She has also served as president of the Georgia Federation of Republican Women and the Cobb County Republican Women's Club.
Wing was unopposed in this year’s GOP primary. She is running on a pro-business, lower taxes, pro-public safety platform. She’s received endorsements from former U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson and the advocacy group Educators First.
Wing has received backing from the Republican State Leadership Committee PAC, the Georgia House Republican Trust, and former state Rep. Sam Teasley, who lost the seat to Williams in 2018.
Wing’s campaign had raised more than $80,000 through Sept. 30.

Occupation/Employment:
Wing served 20 years as an assistant district attorney in the Cobb County judicial circuit, from 1987 to 2007. Since retiring, she has maintained a private law practice.
From 2009 to 2010, Wing served as president of the Cobb County Republican Women's Club.
She was president of the Georgia Federation of Republican Women from 2012 to 2013.
Wing is currently a board member of a Cobb County Safety Village Foundation, which advocates on behalf of the county’s Safety Village training and education efforts. She also serves on the Cobb County Historic Preservation Commission.
