Archer-Norcross header

This week’s Football Fridays in Georgia contest between features No. 3 Norcross vs. Archer will determine the Region 7-7A championship.

Norcross (9-0, 5-0) has sailed through the season with little resistance. The closest call for the Blue Devils came on Oct. 23 when they defeated Mill Creek 23-20. Norcross is coached by Keith Maloof.

Archer (6-3, 5-0) have been equally dominant within the region. The Tigers lost their first three non-region games against Class 7A No. 2 Lowndes, Class 5A No. 2 Warner Robins and Class 7A No. 1 Grayson. Archer is coached by Andy Dyer.

Archer leads the series 4-1. The Tigers won 31-0 in 2019 when both teams were state ranked.
