The Hawks travel to Orlando on Friday in what will be the first of two meetings between the 2 teams before the All-Star Break. The 2 teams will meet again on February 23rd in Atlanta. Atlanta snapped a 3 game losing Wednesday night defeating Indiana, 97-87. In the win the Hawks got key contributions from their bench in guard Kirk Hinrich, and guard-forward Tracy McGrady. The duo combined for 30 points, 17 for Hinrich, and 13 for McGrady.

Atlanta was led in scoring by J-Smoove, Josh Smith 28 points/12 rebounds & Joe Johnson 20 points. The Hawks also outrebounded Indiana 45 to 33. Atlanta leads the Magic by a game in the Southeast division. The Hawks trail division leader Miami by 2 games. The Hawks & Heat square off Sunday in Philips Arena in a nationally televised game.
