In this week’s Medical Minute, Dr. Joseph Hobbs, Chair Emeritus of the Department of Family Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, discusses how high doses of CBD, a compound found in the cannabis plant, has been found to reduce the accumulation of beta-amyloid plaque in the brain that is a hallmark of Alzheimer’s disease.
