Recruiting Spotlight: Sam Horn, Collins Hill
Primary Content
Sam Horn is a starting quarterback for Collins Hill High School in Suwanee. The 6-foot-4, 200-pound senior is the No. 9 quarterback in the nation and No. 10 overall prospect in the state, according to the 247Sports Composite.
In 2020, Horn helped lead the Eagles to the Class 7A championship game against Grayson at Center Parc Stadium. Even though Collins Hill lost 38-14, the 4-star QB drew a lot of attention from major SEC programs like the University of Missouri.
Horn quietly visited Mizzou’s campus in February and quickly found out it was the perfect fit for him. After inking his name with the Tigers, Horn is the highest rated out-of-state quarterback to ever commit to MU, and the highest ranked individual signee for the university since 2015.
Find out why Horn chose to play for Mizzou, what other sport he will play and more about his recruiting process in an interview with GPB’s Hannah Goodin:
