The Breakdown:

1. Bill aimed at giant social media platforms advances in Georgia Senate

• Senate Bill 393 would allow people to sue major social media platforms if their post were altered or removed.
• Control of social media has become a key issue for the GOP, since former President Trump was banned from several sites. 
• If Georgia adopted the measure, it would be the third state to do so. Texas and Florida have similar laws against censorship. 

2. UGA study shows key to limiting abortions includes increased access to morning-after pills

• GPB's Ellen Eldridge reports researchers found, only 57% of Georgia pharmacies stocked the emergency contraceptive Plan B.
• The study showed rural areas have even less access to the morning-after pill.

3. New GOP poll shows Gov. Brian Kemp leading against Perdue 

• The conservative Trafalgar Group polled 1,000 likely Republican voters in early February. 
• Incumbent Kemp led the poll 49% to 40%, 8% of voters were undecided. 
  • There was a 2.99% margin of error.
  • But 40% of those polled didn't know that Perdue is backed by former President Trump. 
• Perdue, in a recent interview, asserted his opinion about the 2020 election. 

• Looking at the U.S. Senate race for Raphael Warnock's seat, Republican challenger Herschel Walker polled at 70% in the GOP primary.
  • Agriculture Secretary Gary Black hovered around 6%.
  • Latham Saddler and Kelvin King rounded out the bottom of the poll
