1. 14th District U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene could testify in court over a lawsuit challenging her reelection.

  • The lawsuit claims that Greene violated a statute from the 14th Amendment by her role in the Jan. 6 insurrection.
    • The case is based on a part of the U.S. Constitution disallowing members of the Confederacy to run for reelection after the Civil War.

Democratic state Rep. Mary Margaret Oliver outlined the case against Greene.

 

2. Sen. Raphael Warnock seeks to temper voter expectations in his first year in the Senate. 

  • Warnock won in Georgia in a historic 2020 special election.
  • His new ad conveys a tempered message to his constituents about his freshman year.
