The Georgia Board of Regents is reducing the role of faculty in college and university presidential searches.

Gov. Brian Kemp signed a group of bills Monday that were spearheaded by Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan.

The Sheriff in Southeast Georgia's Liberty County has scheduled a press conference for this afternoon after a video-recorded traffic stop involving Black students, white police officers and charges of intimidation.
