We take time on occasion to answer listener/blog reader letters on our regular Working segment with Brandon Smith. (We have a bit of a backlog on this, too – my apologies.)

This week, an interesting (and nightmarish) situation for one of our audience members. She and her co-workers are caught in the middle of a longstanding fight between her boss and the second in command.

It started when the No. 2 person applied for the vacant top job. The company brought in an outsider to take over instead and now there are hard feelings all around.
