In this week’s Medical Minute, Dr. Joseph Hobbs, Chair Emeritus of the Department of Family Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, discusses a big group of bacteria that are present virtually everywhere. It is harmless for most of us, but can increase the risk of dying in people whose kidneys have failed.
