The breakdown:

1. Obama stumps for Warnock in final push for the runoff. 

• Former President Barack Obama and Sen. Raphael Warnock on Thursday urged Democratic voters to keep pushing.
  • Obama came out to stump for Warnock and Stacey Abrams back in October. 
• A new CNN poll shows Warnock with an edge over Herschel Walker.
  • But the reverend's lead is still within the margin of error. 
• Today is also the last day for early voting. You can look up you polling place here. 

2. Georgia could have a new place in presidential primary elections. 

• President Biden has suggested elevating states in the South, over the 50-year precedent of picking Iowa first. 
• The Washington Post reports the schedule would go as follows: 
  • South Carolina would lead off the 2024 primaries on Feb. 6.
  • Then New Hampshire and Nevada will hold their contests the next week, on Feb. 13.
  • Followed by Georgia on Feb. 20 and then Michigan on Feb. 27.
