Though bullies in the schoolyard and cyberspace are getting the lion’s share of attention, that’s not the only place you can find them.
It turns out, bullies are making their co-workers miserable at work, too, and they’re getting good performance reviews and achieving high levels of career success while they do it.
[Bullies] have very high levels of emotional intelligence – they can read people very well – and they use emotion to manipulate people and get what they want,” says Brandon Smith, a workplace consultant and our resident expert on workplace and career issues.
