Iconic America is taking a break.  The next episode will discuss the Statue of Liberty on July 11 and we hope you tune in.  Until then, we will keep Iconic Georgia rolling with more fun ideas to travel to and explore.   

Speaking of travel, if there’s any place you want to visit, you may consider going through this Georgia Icon to get there.  We chose the Hartfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport as one of our favorite icons because it is arguably the biggest airport in the world.  It employs about 58,000 employees, making it the largest employer in the state!  It is home to Delta airlines (another Georgia Icon), and welcomes people from all over the world to Atlanta.  So the next time you are heading out of Georgia through the airport, take a minute to appreciate its legacy .
