We began the Fast Forward series at a career fair in Dalton. Starting with an overview of Georgia-based STEM careers and companies, we included a look at Shaw Industries and their work with green technologies. Teachable Moments include an explanation of how to find the energy required to convert solids into liquids and gases.

The Fast Forward project consists of 16 video segments that present Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (also known as the STEM curriculum) concepts in a fun, entertaining and informative way by demonstrating how employees in businesses and organizations across the state are applying the topic matter in their jobs.
