GHSA 3A Final: Cedar Grove vs. Greater Atlanta Christian Football Fridays in Georgia
Future NFL draft pick Jelani Wood’s fourth quarter TD pass helped Cedar Grove withstand a second half Greater Atlanta Christian comeback for a 30-19 win in the state 3-A Finals. GAC played most of the game without future NFL QB Davis Mills who was injured. Woods threw for 144 yards and two TD’s. Tre Shaw’s 34-yard pick six gave the Saints a 23-3 lead before the Spartans rallied to make it close.
