GHSA Quarterfinal: Walton vs. Brookwood Football Fridays in Georgia
In a shootout that featured eight scoring plays of 20-yards or more, Walton travelled to Brookwood and upset the #7 ranked Broncos 52-35 to advance to the Class 7 Five A semi-finals. A 64-yard touchdown pass from Jeremy Hecklinski to Sutton Smith in the third quarter helped Walton score 21 unanswered points to build a 35-14 third quarter lead which proved too much for Brookwood to overcome.
