In the House Chamber today, pure patriotism, as a bald eagle tried to take flight while a singer belted out the national anthem. US Rep. Rich McCormick paid a visit to the Senate, reminding both sides to work together. Senators Elena Parent and John Albers paid tribute to the State trooper injured last week in a shooting at “Cop City” and condemned the violent protest that followed.
