Day 12 began with sad news of the passing of Rep. Richard Smith (R-Columbus). House Speaker Burns and Governor Kemp paid homage to the House Rules Chairman. Tributes continued for one of the Georgia soldiers who died over the weekend in Jordan. And, U.S. Sen. Warnock took to the Senate today imploring the senators to work in a bipartisan fashion to bring Medicaid to the state.
