On Day 23, Rep. Penny Houston (R-Nashville) announced her retirement after serving in the House since 1997. The Senate passed a bill to help create Pre-K programs in school districts to improve elementary reading skills. And, the Fani Willis debate continued on the Senate floor in response to her testimony during a special hearing last week.
