Andrew C. Borders was born in September of 1918. He served with the Army Air Corps and flew during D-Day and the Battle of the Rhine. Mr. Borders describes how he tried to get into pilots' school (even though he is colorblind), watching a bomber accidentally drop bombs on two U.S. planes, and the destructive power of the American Air Force.
