Anna Villwock

Mrs. Anna Pierce Villwock was born in Falkland, North Carolina on December 12, 1923 but lived most of her life in middle Georgia. She joined the Navy Waves in October of 1944. After completing her training at Oklahoma State University she served in operations in the Gulf Sea Frontier where she kept track of ship movement in the Gulf Sea. Mrs. Villwork shares her memories of Pearl Harbor, her work with the WAVS and why she felt it was important for her to serve.
