George A. Satterwhite was born in March of 1924. He served with the Army in the Pacific Theater and traveled to Guam and Guadalcanal. Mr. Satterwhite recalls getting expelled from a mess hall after comparing it to prison, watching a ship explode off the coast of Guam, and the event that made him happy.
