James Sedlack was born in July of 1919. He served with the Army Air Corps in regions surrounding the Mediterranean. Mr. Sedlack recalls how he got his picture taken for Life magazine, how much gas it takes to fly from North Africa to Romania and back, and his involvement in an attack on the Ploesti oil fields, one of the most crucial air raids in the war.
