John Silva

John Silva was born in Berlin, Germany, June 26th, 1921. He fled Germany at the age of 17, the day after his father was arrested by the Nazis. He traveled through Italy, France, Spain, Venezuela, Panama and Peru on his way to Bolivia and became the only member of his family to escape Hitler's persecution.
