Love A. Mallory was born in Georgia in September of 1917. He served as a pilot with the Marine Corps and spent the war in the Pacific. He recalls his time as a pilot dropping bombs on numerous Japanese sites, discusses what life was like between missions, and remembers traveling to Australia, Japan, and the Solomon Islands.
