Mr. Vincent R. Sneider was born in Brooklyn in 1918. He was drafted into the 44th Infantry Division in the National Guard in 1941. After spending sometime guarding the Lockheed Facility, Mr. Sneider enlisted in the U.S. Army so that he could be assigned to the Air Corps division. After being accepted, Mr. Sneider served in an engineering capacity and recounts various incidences of streamlining and improving equipment, traveling by sea, air and train to various locations, R&R and blackouts in England and other stories of cultural interest.
