William Mitchell

William G. Mitchell was born in March of 1921. An Emory graduate who enlisted right after graduation, Mr. Mitchell served with the Army Air Corps in the European theatre. Mr. Mitchell recalls losing his propeller over Berlin, "Access Sally," a turncoat radio DJ who tried to intimidate American pilots, and an attempt to bomb the German Reichstag.
